Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using TikHug, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
Service Description
TikHug provides a browser-based interface for parsing publicly accessible social media URLs and showing available downloadable resources when technically available.
TikHug is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected to Instagram, Meta, TikTok, or ByteDance. All platform names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
The current service focuses on public TikTok URLs and related TikTok downloader/viewer workflows. Platform-specific availability may depend on external providers and can change over time.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for the URLs you submit and for how you use any downloaded content. You agree that you will use TikHug only when you have the necessary rights, permissions, or lawful basis to access, download, store, or reuse the content.
You must respect copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, platform terms, and all applicable laws.
Prohibited Use
You agree not to use TikHug to:
- Download, copy, distribute, repost, sell, or modify content in a way that infringes someone else's rights.
- Access private, restricted, deleted, expired, or unauthorized content.
- Bypass authentication, paywalls, access controls, technical protection measures, rate limits, or platform restrictions.
- Harass, stalk, impersonate, dox, or harm any person.
- Operate abusive automation, scraping, spam, credential collection, malware, or denial-of-service activity.
- Misrepresent TikHug as being affiliated with Instagram, Meta, TikTok, ByteDance, or any other platform.
Third-Party Platforms and Providers
TikHug may rely on third-party platforms, APIs, hosting, analytics, security, or parsing providers. We do not control third-party platforms, their content, their availability, or their terms.
A URL may fail to parse if content is private, unavailable, restricted, changed by the platform, or blocked by technical or legal limits. We may remove, limit, or disable features at any time to respect legal, security, operational, or platform-related concerns.
Intellectual Property
TikHug and its original website design, code, text, and branding are owned by TikHug or its licensors. Third-party platform content, names, logos, trademarks, and media remain the property of their respective owners and rights holders.
No rights are granted to third-party content through TikHug. Users must obtain all required permissions before using downloaded material.
No Legal Advice
These Terms are provided for website operation and user guidance only. They are not legal advice. If you need legal advice about downloading or using third-party content, consult a qualified lawyer.
Disclaimer
TikHug is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that any URL will parse successfully, that any media will be available, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TikHug will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from your use of or inability to use the website.
Termination and Enforcement
We may block requests, suspend access, limit features, or take other action if we believe the website is being misused or if continued operation creates legal, security, platform, or operational risk.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. The updated date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
